{"id":238,"date":"2022-08-05T19:02:51","date_gmt":"2022-08-05T19:02:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mindbootcamp.org\/?p=238"},"modified":"2022-08-05T19:02:52","modified_gmt":"2022-08-05T19:02:52","slug":"luke-1213-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mindbootcamp.org\/?p=238","title":{"rendered":"Luke&nbsp;12:13-21"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Parable of the Rich Fool<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>13&nbsp;<\/strong>Someone in the crowd said to him, \u201cTeacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>14\u00a0<\/strong>Jesus replied,\u00a0\u201cMan, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>15\u00a0<\/strong>Then he said to them,\u00a0\u201cWatch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>16\u00a0<\/strong>And he told them this parable:\u00a0\u201cThe ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>17\u00a0<\/strong>He thought to himself, \u2018What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>18\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cThen he said, \u2018This is what I\u2019ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>19\u00a0<\/strong>And I\u2019ll say to myself, \u201cYou have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.\u201d\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>20\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cBut God said to him, \u2018You fool!\u00a0This very night your life will be demanded from you.
